A Type-In Domain is a domain that you type it directly in your browser
without searching it at the search engines.
Example: www.ringtones.com
These are very very valued domains since you don´t have to make so much
effort to promote them (too many people will enter there just typing the
name). Type in domains are very very diffucult to find, but the good news is
that we have the Typo domains !
A Typo domain is a mispelled type-in domain.
Example: www.ringtong.com instead of www.ringtone.com
There are thousdands of mispelled domains and keywords.
People not only use to enter bad typed domain names. They also make
Searches based on mispelled keywords, so you can get traffic from both
Mispelled typo´s and mispelled searches.
Ok, let´s show you how to make a typo domain availability search.
1. Download TypoGen (Free) From Here:
http://www.vbbitman.com/Download/TypoGen.exe
2. Open it and just enter a keyword or the name of a type-in domain
(ringtones.com for example).
3. That´s all. Now, select those who are more similar to the type-in
domain/keyword, press the copy button and make a bulk check
to see which domains are available (mydomain.com for example).

WARNING: Avoid making typo domains from trademarks. It´s not legal and
you can loose your domain. Example: www.macdonald.com won´t be a a
good idea for a typo name.
Some Tips for your mispelled domains:
- Domains that include “h” or “cc”, “tt”, “ss” (like ericsson), “nn”, or any
other double letter use to be mispelled.
- Domains that include numbers used to be mispelled. Example:
onedomain.com – 1domain.com.
- Domains written as singular/plural, use to be mispelled (Example:
ringtone.com / ringtones.com).
- Domains that include “ck” used to be mispelled (Example: traking.com
instead of tracking.com.
- Domains that include “ph” also use to be mispelled (Example:
Photografy.com or Philadelfia.com / Philadelphia.com, Filadelphia).
- Many Great Type-In / Typo Domains are registered for the Top Level
domains (.com, .net, .info, etc), but are not registered for the regional
domains! There´s a big profit there.
