Lance M. Havok merilis WordPress exploitation toolkit yang diperuntukan untuk mengekploitasi WordPress hingga versi 2.2.2. Toolkit ditulis dalam bahasa ruby, memanfaatkan celah keamanan pada xmlrpc untuk mengambil hash hak user dan meretrieve informasi-informasi penting lainnya. Penulis eksploit adalah seorang antiblogging yang menganggap blogging adalah pekerjaan yang orang-orang yang gak ada kerjaan (maksudnya ???).
